Prix Plume des achats 2020 for the best French-language book Collaborate to innovate
Posted on 9 December 2020

The book of Romaric Servajean- Hilst, Hugues Poissonnier & Gustavo Pierangelini , « Collaborer pour innover – le management stratégique des ressources externes » published by Springer was awarded the prize for the best French-language book 2020 by Les Plumes des Achats & Supply Chain.

Les Plumes des Achats rewards the best books of the year in the field of Purchasing and Supply Chain. It is a gathering of four associations (ACA, ADRA, IT Buyers Club & X-Purchasing) of buyers and Purchasing Managers around an event awarding prizes to the best literary works on the Purchasing function. The jury is composed of a reading committee of 30 people including professionals, teachers and researchers. It concerns French and English-language works and dissertations.

The winning book is a practical manual for managing collaborative innovation. It highlights the main approaches and tools that enable better collaboration for innovation, from strategy to change management, from the identification of new ideas to contract management, from the organization of the company to the positions in charge of collaborations.

"Together with my co-authors, Hugues Poissonnier and Gustavo Pierangelini, we propose ideas and solutions to develop the capacity for innovation of organizations - whatever their size or sector - by learning how to better collaborate with partners," explains Romaric Servajean Hilst.

"Based on the latest analyses and best practices observed in the field and our research work on Open Innovation and Purchasing (including a number of works from CRG-I3 and CGS-I3), we highlight the individual, organizational and inter-organizational skills, as well as the main tools, that enable better collaboration for innovation," says Romaric Servajean Hilst.

"We are thus successively addressing the methods of identifying (sourcing) innovation partners, the management of partnership relations, the skills and organizational methods within each company, the new individual skills to be developed and the change management to be carried out to move towards more collaborative innovation" he concludes.
