"What path should be proposed between corporate management based on shareholder value maximization and stakeholder view?  Through the book "L'entreprise de demain" (Flammarion 2021) and in light of recent international developments, we argue for a model that rethinks not only performance but also corporate governance and the definition of competition.

Antoine Frérot is CEO of Veolia and Rodolphe Durand is a professor at HEC Paris, Director of the Society & Organizations Institute, and a member of boards and mission committees.
