Chair VP-IP/C3S – 23rd Conference The “autonomous vehicle”: ethical issues in partnership with the National Digital Ethics Committee

The ITM's Values and Policies of Personal Information (VP-IP) Chair, in partnership with the National Pilot Committee for Digital Ethics (CNPEN), Sorbonne University and the Connected Cars and Cyber Security (C3S) Chair at Télécom Paris, is pleased to invite you to its 23rd conference on Tuesday, December 14, from 9:15 to 11:30 am.

For those unable to attend, the event will be broadcast live via videoconference.

The first part of this event will be devoted to the presentation of the opinion n° 2 of the National Digital Ethics Committee on autonomous vehicles, by its two rapporteurs, Raja Chatila and Catherine Tessier. The second part will be an opportunity to exchange with the public.

Presentation of the Values and Policies of Personal Information (VP-IP) Chair at the Institut Mines-Télécom by Claire Levallois-Barth, VP-IP Chair Coordinator
Presentation of the Connected Car and Cyber Security (C3S) Chair at Télécom Paris by Guillaume Duc, holder of the C3S Chair

9:30 a.m.: Presentation of CNPEN Opinion No. 2: The "autonomous vehicle": ethical issues, Catherine Tessier and Raja Chatila (rapporteurs)

10:10: Speech by Xavier Delache, Deputy Director of Studies and Forecasting, Ministry of Ecological Transition (to be confirmed)

10:30 a.m.: Debate between the members of the CNPEN "Autonomous Vehicle" working group and the public.
