We will discuss a presentation by Éric Dagiral, entitled:

"Elements for a Historical Sociology of Health Databases".

This session proposes to explore a body of work positioned at the crossroads of information science, HTS and the history of informatics and databases, in order to question the place and roles of databases in the worlds of health-medicine, and to open a discussion on the links between a long history of databases and the contemporary promises of the big data moment.
