The EXPERCRISE project coordinated by Brice Laurent (ARMINES - Mines Paris Tech) focuses on the political and social stakes of expertise during the Covid-19 crisis, and on the following issue: "what are the elements that ensure the credibility and legitimacy of the scientific expertise mobilized by the public decision? ». It will provide a case study of the French situation and will participate in an international comparative study in order to identify national specificities.

It will take place in an international comparison coordinated by colleagues from Cornell and Harvard and supported by the Schmidt Foundation. An interim report was presented in January before a high-profile panel including the Director General of WHO & co. To know more
