After presentations of the technical innovations and the conditions of their implementation, various interventions will explore potential applications. But to make the deployment of 5G a success in Europe, it is essential to anticipate the optimum conditions for spectrum management as well as an effective public policy and regulatory intervention.

CThis conference on the 5G will last all day. The morning session, starting at 9:00 am, will be devoted to questions of technology, network deployment and potential applications, with Alain Sibille (Professor at Telecom ParisTech) and Marceau Coupechoux (Maître de Conférence at Télécom ParisTech), Jean-Louis Rougier and Philippe Martins (professors at Télécom ParisTech), Eric Hardouin (Orange) and Alain Servel (PSA). The afternoon presentations, starting at 2 pm, will address public policy and regulatory issues wit Gérard Pogorel (Professeur Emérite à Télécom ParisTech), Marc Bourreau (Professeur d’économie à Télécom ParisTech) and Frédéric Pujol (Idate Digiworld).

The conference will conclude with a round table with Bernard Barani (European Commission), Jacques Stern (Member of the ARCEP college), Gilles Brégant (Director General of ANFR) and Jean-Pierre Bienaimé, Secretary General of 5GPP ).
